About Christopher

As Senior Counsel at the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, Chris provides advice on legislative and regulatory matters involving land use, including infill development, resource conservation and renewable energy.  In addition, since 2009, he has served as the lead attorney overseeing updates to the CEQA Guidelines.  The Daily Journal named Chris one of California’s Top 20 under 40 in 2010.  In private practice, Chris represented both local governments and private applicants in matters involving the California Environmental Quality Act and related environmental and planning laws in association with the law firm of Remy Moose & Manley LLP, and later with Best Best & Krieger LLP.
