Summer JAM 2022 Flier

The Summer JAM Program is a free, 40-hour program that encourages students to become leaders in their communities. Students will learn about the California State Seal of Civic Engagement and how to earn the special notation on their high school transcript and diploma. Participants will also learn from public servants, government experts and community leaders about how government works, possible careers & how they can be a community ambassador. All students who complete the program earn a $500 stipend!

Students must:

  • Attend grades 10-12 in the 2022-23 school year
  • Live in the City of Sacramento OR attend a high school located in the Sacramento city limits

The program schedule will run from Tuesday, July 26 – Friday, August 26. Students will participate in a hybrid program format with some in-person activities and virtual learning sessions. A final program schedule will be provided upon acceptance into the program. Students must participate in the full program schedule (with some exceptions accepted) to earn the $500 stipend.

Please contact summerJAM@ca-ilg.org with any questions.

Summer JAM is funded by a grant from the City of Sacramento and PRO Youth and Families.
