The City of Carson’s Climate Action Plan features innovative Land Use and Transportation (LUT) strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the city and across the South Bay. 

Developed over 12 years of extensive field research on mobility, zero emission vehicles and destinations, these LUT strategies focus on multi-modal mobility, neighborhood centers, and mixed use planning to reduce greenhouse gas emissions the housing dense and transit poor South Bay region.
