A Roundtable on Health, Transportation and Energy Efficiency in the Inland Empire

The Cap and Trade and Climate Investments Roundtable held September 19, 2016 in Fontana provided a venue for key local and regional officials and community leaders to share information, ideas and recommendations for action with leaders from state government. The dialogue focused on opportunities to harness the state’s climate investments to advance the health and prosperity of the residents of the region.

The Roundtable was hosted and convened by State Senator Connie M. Leyva and organized by the Institute for Local Government ILG.

Sponsors included the League of California Cities, the San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), the Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG), the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP), the American Lung Association in California – San Bernardino, Southern California Edison, SoCalGas and the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
