Grace is a collaborative engagement practitioner with over 10 years experience helping California communities and agencies with community engagement and public policy facilitation. Prior to joining ILG, Grace worked for CivicWell, the Consensus and Collaboration Program at Sacramento State, the Vermont League of Cities and Towns, and the Vermont State Legislature. She has facilitated collaboratives, provided technical assistance to underserved and under-resourced communities to access state agency funding opportunities, and helped local municipalities conduct planning processes. Her work has included projects focused on water policy, emergency response planning, disabilities communities’ access and functional needs, and organizational strategic planning.
Her interest in public policy issues began when she was a Colorado College Public Interest Fellow assisting the Pikes Peak Community Foundation providing grants to local community organizations to address a variety of pressing social and environmental community issues. Grace has a Master of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor’s of Arts from Colorado College.
