About Dawn

Dawn is the Water Conservation Coordinator for the City of Woodland located in Yolo county where she is responsible for implementing water conservation programs as well as helping to educate the community about techniques for reducing water use and waste. Helping with research for new water conservation methods, Dawn along with a team of researchers find innovative ways to help protect their city from California droughts.

Ms. Calciano received a Master’s in Science for Environmental Biology from Hood College as well as a Bachelor’s of Science degree for Biology and Wildlife Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
