What’s in a Name?

Post

Giving one’s time is a fundamentally generous gesture.  Even though the Institute does not have the resources to compensate all that want to contribute to its efforts, the Institute is eager to offer reciprocal benefits whenever possible.

This includes being flexible on how volunteer work is labeled.  For example, we are happy to call graduate student volunteers “fellows” and undergraduate volunteers “interns”.  There may be other naming options for those who bring more career experience to their volunteer effort.
