Support ILG on Giving Tuesday!
For more than 60 years, the Institute for Local Government has been providing support, training and resources to aid local elected officials and staff in making informed and ethical decisions that affect our everyday lives. In 2015, alone ILG trained more than 1000 elected officials and staff, developed 25 new resources and wrote 15 articles on topics of ethics, sustainability, collaboration and public engagement. On this Day of Giving, please help us ensure that local leaders continue to have the tools they need to create more efficient, transparent and prosperous communities for us all.
ILG is a non-profit dedicated to promoting good government at the local level. We support California’s local governments as they work to establish and implement good governance policies and practices to better serve their communities. We conduct research and provide education through technical assistance, trainings, webinars and online and print resources in an effort to: foster ethical, transparent local governments; create active and engaged communities; and ensure elected officials have the tools they need to make informed, ethical decisions.
