Les White Bio
Les White is an educator, author and community volunteer, and is active in professional organizations. His experience includes service as city manager in San Jose and Fullerton, CEO of United Way Silicon Valley, vice chancellor of administration for a community college, and executive director of the Fort Ord Reuse Authority.
Les has done independent consulting for several cities and nonprofits, specializing in executive coaching, executive evaluations and management training. He authored a management training publication entitled “Traits of Successful Managers,” and has taught public administration classes at two state universities and two community colleges.
Les earned a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Fresno State University and a master’s of government administration degree from the Fels Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.
