About the Webinar

Is your community/jurisdiction starting to think about climate equity and how to incorporate environmental justice? Interested in learning best practices for advancing environmental justice? Are you updating your general plan?

Join our webinar and hear from local agencies that are leading the way on how to develop and implement environmental justice. Additionally, the Governor’s Office of Planning and Research will talk about local government’s requirement to develop an Environmental Justice Element as part of their General Plan updates under California Senate Bill 1000 (Leyva, 2016). Cities, Counties, and Special Districts seeking to learn more about, improve, or start addressing environmental justice and climate equity are encouraged to attend.
