Promoting Good Government at the Local Level
ILG is the research and education affiliate of the California State Association of Counties and the League of California Cities.

Publications

Past (Out of Print) Publications

In its 50-plus year history, the Institute has developed a rich collection of past publications.  Some of these publications have been scanned and are available electronically (check out the attached list--if there's a link, the publication is available for personal use).

The Institute is willing to scan additional publications and make them available for a one-time $40 flat per-publication fee that helps defray a portion of the Institute's labor costs in scanning and making its older publications available electronically.Read more »

Publications and Logo Item Ordering Information

All proceeds from logo item sales and publication sales and licenses support the Institute's efforts to promote good government at the local level.

The Institute makes its publications available in three different ways:

  1. Website users are welcome to individually review any publication in electronic form and make a single copy/print out of the publication without charge.
  2. Website users are also welcome to print and distribute copies of any publications for a small license fee.
  3. Hardcopies of most publications are also available for purchase.

To take advantage of options 2 or 3, please complete our order form. Orders can either be faxed or mailed. For hardcopy orders, rush orders can be arranged.  Thank you for supporting the Institute's work.
