Get Email Updates and RSS Feeds
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) allows you to subscribe to
certain content areas and get immediate notice when a new story
or resource is posted. With RSS feeds you don’t need to check the
website for new content.
Want to Subscribe to an RSS Feed?
Go to the
RSS feeds icon bottom of page, the site map at the top of the
page, or www.ca-ilg.org/sitemap.
Click on the RSS icon next to the area you want to subscribe to. This will take you to a page where you can choose how the RSS feed will be delivered
If you use Internet Explorer 7, you can choose to have RSS feeds
appear in your Favorites.

RSS Readers
You can also choose to have RSS feeds delivered to a “feed reader” or “news aggregator.”
Feed readers are programs that know what to do with RSS files. Using a reader is a simple way to view all of your feeds at one time.
When a new story or resource in that area is uploaded to ILG’s website, its headline and introductory paragraph are delivered to your RSS reader for review. If you decide to read the entire story, simply click on the title of the story in your reader, and you’ll be taken right to that article.
