The Davenport Institute of Public Engagement recently announced their 2012 Grant Program recipients:

• City of Vallejo in developing and conducting the first city-wide Participatory Budgeting Process.
• City of San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department in advancing their Community Recreation Council approach to program planning.
• County of Humboldt in their Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy update. 
• Western Riverside Council of Governments in the development of their Subregional Climate Action Plan.

In addition to the above listed recipients, the Davenport Institute also recognized three additional “training grantees”:  City of Hayward, City of East Palo Alto, and City of Desert Hot Springs.
