Collaborative Governance Initiative
The Collaborative Governance Initiative assists local officials in supporting informed and effective civic engagement in public decision-making and to help local officials in California successfully navigate among the growing number of community engagement options that bring the public's voice to the table on important issues.

Healthy Neighborhoods
The Healthy Neighborhoods program provides support and resources local officials can use to protect and improve community health by integrating health considerations into their planning, land use and other decisions and connecting working families with no- and low-cost health insurance for their children.

Intergovernmental Conflict Resolution
The Intergovernmental Conflict Resolution program encourages local agencies to consider alternatives to litigation for resolving disputes among local public agencies.

The Land Use and Environment program provides resources and education to local officials on the linkages between land use patterns and public health outcomes.

Local Government 101 provides information about the nuts and bolts of local government structures and processes for newly-elected officials, newly-hired staff, the media and members of the public.
