Lee and her husband, Ber, have four children, two who currently attend local schools. They have been actively involved in Merced County for more than 19 years. Their family volunteer and work to ensure our communities have higher quality experiences and opportunities.
Lee is the Merced County Supervisor representing District 2, home to the University of California, Merced, Merced Community College and Mercy Medical Center Merced among many large organizations. She believes our people are our most valuable asset. Through her role as an elected official, she works to develop the people side of economic development. Lee also focuses on tangible outcomes like transportation, infrastructure.
In her role as a County Supervisor, Lee serves on the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) Board, the Merced County Association of Governments, Central California Alliance for Health, is chair of First 5 Merced County, the Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Board and more. She is the member representative to the National Association of Counties (NACo).
Beyond her elected office, Lee co-founded the Kids Discovery Station in Merced and serves as Chair of the Board. She was reappointed by Governor Jerry Brown to the 35th District Agricultural Association, also known as the Merced County Fair Board. Lee also serves on the American Leadership Forum – Great Valley Chapter Board and previously served on the Mercy Medical Center Merced’s Community Board, its Board Quality Committee and was Chair of its Community Advisory Committee.
