The Beacon Program recognizes achievements in saving energy, reducing greenhouse gases, implementing innovative sustainability policies and programs, and more. Learn how to apply for and earn award recognition.

Wed, April 1: Application for Award Recognition open

Tue, June 30: Application period closes at 5 PM PT

August: Notification of award recognition

Open to any California local govt. agency. Beacon Program participation not required.
