About Dawn

As Director of Planning and Capital Management for San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, Dawn is responsible for the delivery of over $300 million in capital improvement projects across 3,000 acres of the city’s 220 parks and open spaces. Dawn has spent seven years building a broad and diverse coalition in support of investment in parks infrastructure  by creating business practices that emphasize transparency, accountability and public partnerships.  As a result, in 2014 San Francisco will develop its first new parks in over a decade — parks that will serve the city’s emerging neighborhoods.

Dawn has attended Bryn Mawr University, University of California Berkeley, as well as the University of Washington.
