This very popular session at the 2010 League of California Cities’ Annual Conference addressed the increasing popularity of new online social networking technologies that present new public engagement opportunities for local government agencies, as well as new challenges.

James Keene, city manager of the City of Palo Alto, moderated the session. Speakers included Brian Moura, Assistant City Manager, City of San Carlos; Ariel Pierre Calonne, City Attorney, City of Ventura; and Steven Clift, Executive Director, E-Democracy.org.
