San Diego Officials Offer Advice on Engaging the Public in Planning
Top state, local and community leaders in San Diego met recently to discuss Perspectives on Public Participation in Regional Planning. The roundtable, co-hosted by the Institute and the San Diego Foundation, was the latest in a series of events, webinars, and publications offered through the Institute’s SB 375 and Regional Planning project. The project helps local officials learn about and participate effectively in the regional planning process, including the development of sustainable communities strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles.
