The FPPC has produced a smartphone app for those required to file form 700.

This app (see link at right) is for California state and local officials and employees who are required to file Form 700 - Statement of Economic Interests. It helps keep track of the gifts received in a calendar year and provides a quick and easy way to populate Schedule D (the gift reporting schedule) of the Form 700. The data is not collected electronically; it is fully stored on the phone. This app is available for mobile devices running version 4.0 or higher, and iOS version 6.1 and higher.
