Art is the president and chief operating officer of De Anza Manufacturing, a contract electronic manufacturing company. Prior work experience includes serving as the director of engineering for Intel Corporation and as a council member and mayor to the City of Mountain View. Art was also appointed to the Task Force on Telecommunications and Computers during Governor Pete Wilson’s administration. He is a board member for Friends of Stevens Creek Trail and the Midpeninsula YMCA. Art’s prior community service credits include serving on the board of the League of California Cities and being president of the League’s Mayors and Council Members Department.
