Workshop: BAAQMD Clean Air Plan

The Air District is hosting public workshops on its recently released Draft Bay Area 2010 Clean Air Plan.

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District) has released the Draft Bay Area 2010 Clean Air Plan (CAP) as well as a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (Draft PEIR) on the CAP.  Prior to the workshops, the Air District will also release a Draft Socio-Economic Analysis of the CAP.

The Air District is hosting public workshops to present the Draft CAP, the Draft PEIR, and the Draft Socio-Economic Analysis.  The purpose of the workshops is to:

• Present an overview and key findings from the Draft CAP, the Draft PEIR, and the Draft Socio-Economic Analysis
• Answer questions
• Receive public input and suggestions

Written comments on Draft CAP, the Draft PEIR, and the Draft Socio-Economic Analysis must be submitted by the end of the 45-day comment period on April 26, 2010.
