This discussion is an opportunity to learn about multi-sector immigrant welcoming efforts with local officials as substantial partners.  Such efforts can help build stronger communities in areas experiencing demographic changes.

The session will include promising practices identified in both California (including Oakley and Redwood City) and the national Welcoming Cities Project.
