Because of its Bay-front location close to the City’s financial district, Mission Bay was identified as a prime location for mixed-use redevelopment. Involving the Public in Planning Healthy Communities - 2011 League Planners Institute

Many communities are trying to enhance resident health through improvements in the built environment. Informing and engaging the broader community can increase the likelihood for the success of these efforts.

Update to the General Plan Guidelines: Complete Streets and the Circulation Elements
