Bell Council Members Add to Understanding about Public Meetings

The Institute presented a three-hour interactive workshop for City of Bell council members on October 19th. The presentation, Strategies for Effective Council Meetings: Opportunities and Limitations, focused on the role of council meetings in public agency decision making and effective meeting procedures (including civility and the role of the chair).

There also was a workbook with additional materials that are available at right.  The Institute welcomes suggestions from local officials and staff on the tip sheets on civility and chairing meetings.
